Born to Tyrone H. Mills and Lisa Brown in Baltimore, MD, Brent A. Brown was saved at the age of 9, at the Sweet Hope Freewill Baptist Church under the leadership of Bishop Chilean McCoy Smith Sr. At the age of 18, Rev. Brown received the call to the preaching ministry. In 2011, he accepted and acknowledged his call and began studying under the tutelage of his former Pastor, the late Bishop Marilyn E. Bostic of Jesus of Nazareth Freewill Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD.  After Bishop Bostic's transition from labor to rest, Reverend Brown furthered his preparation under the tutelage of the Reverend Charles A. Hall, Jr. On Saturday, November 23rd, 2013, Rev. Brown preached his Initial Sermon, "When Faith fights Reality."  Serving as Executive Pastor of The Greater Harvest Baptist Church from early 2016 until November 2016, when he was officially elected as its Fifth Pastor. Serving and walking closely with his mentor and predecessor, the late Reverend Errol D. Gilliard, Sr. has equipped Reverend Brown for Ministry at Greater Harvest and beyond.

Reverend Brown is also an anointed musician. He has played for numerous churches, organizations, and conferences throughout Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan Area. Reverend Brown is currently matriculating at Hampton University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religious Studies. He is the loving, devoted husband of Mrs. Shamyra Kiona Brown, and the proud, devoted father of Miss Essence Imani Brown. Reverend Brown gives God all the Glory and Honor for choosing him to stand and preach the undying riches of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He firmly believes that “If Jesus be lifted up, Jesus will draw all men unto Him.”
